Austenitic group 309/309s type stainless steels; They respond very well to high temperature usage purposes. Since it contains a high content of chromium and nickel, it has a high resistance to corrosion. They also show higher resistance to oxidation than 304 grade stainless steels. The usage areas of these steels achieve high success in environments with high deformation, high environmental and abrasion temperatures.
We see that they can be used in boilers, heater fans in the linings of furnaces, in the heater fans, in the hangers of boats and pipes where high temperature passes, in the furnaces in the light process sectors. Austenitic stainless steels also give successful results due to their oxidation resistance and chromium alloys. This heat resistance is due to the fact that it contains more than 20% chromium. By applying nickel and nickel changes, it can be made to withstand higher temperatures. For this reason, 309/309s and 310/310s stainless steels can be considered as high alloyed materials.
Considering their welding properties, they are the most easily weldable types among the steels in the austenitic group.
They are sold in the market in coil, sheet, pipe, plate and bar forms.
